To the “facilitator”/clinician that decided to single me out today: I welcome the open and thoughtful discussion of difficult/controversial issues – it encourages me to consider other opinions as well as strengthen my own beliefs. However, I don’t appreciate being badgered and then interrupted when I attempt to answer even one of the questions you threw at me – especially when you aren’t staying on the topic of the question and just trying to get your message across. Yet, I couldn’t be happier with my classmates, we always display professionalism regardless of which side of the issue we stand – can’t wait to start third-year with all of you.
In the end, I won’t perform, be a part of, or refer any medical procedures I believe are wrong, sorry sir I won’t do it…
